The photo series 'Hidden Realities' is based on the visible and invisible in human behavior and the complex relationship it shares with its own self

It is set in the urban environment of Mumbai, a city in rapid transition, which maps out its desires and aspirations on the youth, who are vulnerable and seemingly confident at the same time.

I found myself slipping into these crevices in social environments surrounding me in everyday life – the cross dressing self in the mirror [image 1] still seeking answers in witch craft [image 4] or hiding desires [image 6].

It is this human consciousness that I would like to explore in urban environments outside of India and where does the individual crossover with the locality/geography it finds itself in.
